*In case of sponsored candidates, the sponsoring agency will have to remit the entire course fee (50% from candidate +
50% Sponsored amount) and directly to the concerned training institute at the time of admission. However, in
the event of nonremittance of course fee by sponsoring agency, the same will have to be paid by the concerned
candidate.

Eligibility: Graduate degree from a recognized Indian university in Biological Sciences or Graduate
degree in any discipline with basic knowledge of sericulture/silk and reasonable understanding of basic biological
concept are considered for short listing based on their graduation marks and seats available. Age limit is Min.
21 & Max.40 years.

II. FARMER SKILL TRAININGS

Farmers Skill Training (FST) (Farmers, unemployed youths and rural women from different Tasar producing states will be provided training in different aspects of tasar culture viz., Host Plant Maintenance, Silkworm Seed Production, Rearing and Post cocoon Technology)	June to Dec [5 days ]	25	CSB Sponsored	Host Plant Maintenance, Silkworm Seed Production & Rearing Technology (Farmers, unemployed youths and rural women in different Tasar producing states).
2.	Sericulture Resource Center (SRC) (Conceptually, the Sericulture Resource Centre (SRC) is like a ‘village forum’ led by an elite / experienced farmer in a sericulture cluster for staging technology demonstrations/ discussions for the benefit of cluster stakeholders)	June to Dec (1 day)	15-20	CSB Sponsored	Two SRCs have to conduct at least 10 batches (15 farmers/ batch) every year.
3.	Exposure visit for technology awareness	June to Dec (3-5 days)	20	CSB Sponsored	Only lead/progressive farmers along with escort (one for 20 farmers group).
