Training Division of the Institute shoulders the responsibility of generating skilled and trained human resource in the field of tasar sector by conducting various training programmes structured for different target groups of Scientists (CSB & ICAR KVKs), Directorate of Sericulture of States, stakeholders, NGOs and entrepreneurs. In view of the reducing field personnel with DOSs, Training Division also takes up accreditation of Community Resource Persons for their engagement in upscaling initiatives, to provide extension, community building and training support to implementing agencies. These programmes are conducted by highly experienced and qualified scientists of CTRTI. Most of the training programmes are fully sponsored by the CSB/funding agencies and the participants are provided boarding, lodging and transport facilities. The institute provides star level hostel facilities for students and trainees.
