SERICULTURE EXTENSION, ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT DIVISION (SEEM)
Sericulture Extension, Economics and Management Division (SEEM) working with a mandate to carryout research in the areas of Extension, Economics and Social sciences related to Tasar culture, undertake extension activities for dissemination and promotion of Tasar technologies, popularization of Tasar technologies through nested units (i.e., RSRS&REC), coordinate with Nested units, NGO’s & DOSs during On-Farm Trials, On- Station Trails, Multi-locational Trials etc., monitor & coordinate the extension activities being taken at RSRSs & RECs, organize & participate in extension communication programmes, coordinate with departments of sericulture of different State governments, NGOs, Forest department etc., monitor and execute the MKSP & TSP programes for promotion of Tasar sericulture anddevelopment of strategies for transfer of technologiesto Tasar farmers/ stake holders.
